Welcome!  I have the little RT(K75).  Great machines that are real horizon chasers.

Hello! I have an 85 K100rs battery eater. The Gents here have been helping me with it. A lot of knowledge here.
Good luck on getting it running!

Smaller diameter terminal on the fuel pump is +. Yellow wire. (If it's still yellow, they can discolor over time.) Black wire (ground) to larger diameter terminal.

Very Happy Welcome, Gdotmacky!
You've come to the right place for good answers and solutions!

Consider putting the VIN of your bike into your signature, underneath each message? Very helpfull in determinating the specs of your bike...

Enjoy and good luck in bringing her back on the road! cheers
Jos

I also own an 87 K75 and it has been an absolute “horizon chaser” (great terminology!).   Over 100K. All over the west coast and east into CO and UT.   It sounds like a turbine.  Only trouble I’ve had is the stinking gas pump. Absolute nightmare to service/change.  On my third one.   Probably something to do with Kalifornia gasoline.

Happy motoring gents!!!!
