Hi everyone, I’m Nigel.

I ride a 25 year old K1100LT. She’s a beauty and I’ve owned her 23 years. I do my own servicing and repairs where I can and post on my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@NigelEaland. The hardest repair I did recently was rebuilding the front forks with the help of a friend who is an Ex Met Police mechanic.

I live on the edge of London. My biggest upset at the moment is the Mayor of London extending the ULEZ next August. It will cost me £12.50 a day to ride my bike or I have to sell. This has driven me to look at catalytic converters but I have found no solutions.

hold on to the k1100 and buy a classic , maybe a k100 . its the same in bham so i bought 2 classic cars and a classic van as i travel thro the city a bit and to go round now is just a traffic jam , i already had several classic bikes but tend to head south on them , riding thro town is no fun .

Catalytic converters were optionnal for K1100LT. It's not rare to find a used one in Switzerland.
Thus you'll have to change the motronic ECU and probably the engine wiring loom to connect the lambda probe, or make a custom one.
