Hello All.   My name is Scott McWilliams and I hail from beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.   I've just bought a 1990 K75s in Marrakesh red with 57,000 miles on it (around 92,000km for us here in Canada).  It's a US-spec bike that looks to have lived on Hawaii for a lot of it's life, so I understand that it has a bit less power than the Euro and Canadian models.  The only problem with it is that the speedometer isn't working.  The previous owner included a new sensor that fits in the bevel drive housing, so I'm hoping this is a simple fix.

I need to respray the side covers in Marrakesh red, as the PO painted them black.

The garage is full of old bikes: 1991 BMW R100GS PD, 1979 Laverda 1200 Mirage, 1976 Guzzi LeMans Mk1, 1973 Guzzi V7 Sport, 1987 Guzzi V65TT, 1974 350cc Jawa 634, and my wife's 1981 BMW R100T.

 I've always thought the K-bikes were a brilliant design, and I'm looking forward to learning more on them.

Good purchase. The red K75Ss are fastest. (Once you get the side covers to match.)

But black K 100 rt's are the quickest . WELCOME to the forum.
