Hello folks.

Anyone have any knowlage of the difference between the K75 forks and yokes and the K100 forks and yokes?

From the little reasearch I've done so far. I've concluded that the 75 and 100 shared the same front forks and the yokes are the same size Is this correct?

I'm asking because I'm in the process of fitting a pair of Leading link forks to my sidecar outfit. They are Wasp LLs and I have both K100 and K75 yokes. The 100s came with the forks (bought them SH) but are showing some damage/indent marks here and there and I'd like to fit the 75 yokes which are in great condition. However, it seems that they are infact different sizes, but we are talking 3/4 of milimeter difference between these two yokes. Is this correct?

As per the Haynes manual.
Fichtel and Sachs fork diameter is 41.325mm -  41.350 as fitted to 85-92 K75's and K100's.
Showa fork diameter 41.4 K75's 93 onward however my 1992 K75s has Showa forks and they are OEM. scratch
Regards Martin.

If you need help and/or advice on fitting the LLs/maybe getting new yokes made, give this guy a ring

Adrian (Adge) Robberts [BTcode]07973[the rest of the number]874790

He owns Hedingham Sidecars down in Dorset. Full disclosure: he's my best mate and I've been causing him trouble for over thirty years. Second disclosure: Tinyspuds on this forum can vouch for him. I've only been trying to cause trouble for Tinyspuds since he's been a member of this forum.

Thanks for the info. Looks like my 75s are Showa and the 100s will be Fichtel and or Sachs. Not sure now weather to be more forceful, or to get them reamed out.

You'd be better off getting the correct corresponding triple trees. Try Motor Works UK.
