I'm after a headlight for a K100 standard and they still seam to be available from BMW(Germany) my question is, are they sold as one or is it sold in two parts as in what it appears to in this pic.

It may be just the front glass piece.

Is the part you looking for used where they drive on the left side of the road or the right because they are different.  If it is the wrong one the beam will shine into oncoming traffic.

When I collected my 75S in der Fatherland it had a little black sticker on the glass to stop it doing just that.

I have three clean, used K100 headlight assemblies for non-UK/OZ/eNZed/Southern Africa/Japan/Indonesia/India/Guyana & the rest, if anyone needs one.

How much, any chance one is blue Rolling Eyes

Is the adjuster part of that and do you know if the adjuster on the US model is on the same side as the AUST models.

I do need the assembly so I'll take one of yours with the US headlight  or without it, if you're willing to sell one.

I reckon you'll find a roadworthy inspector, or bored copper or two, who'll notice the headlight lens pointing the wrong way for OZ on these, Baz. I got pinched for fitting one to my OZ-based RS some years back after it took a stone over the road. I had to source one with the proper aim.

Gahd, I miss that bike. I wonder what the four-year-old petrol will look like when I return in November.

I've managed to find a headlight at K MODEL BMW Parts in Bega, no adjuster though, found an alternative to the radiator cover, just gotta get the rest now, I would never ride the bike with a US headlight, can't afford too as I'm a Vintage bike registration inspector for the VJMC(Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club) here in Tasmania, I'd be ex-communicated K100 Headlight Query 161205

I'll take the assembly without the headlight or with it, I can give away the US headlight on the K-BIKE buy swap/sell facebook site, it's mostly US and Europe.

If it all goes to hell in a handcart and you can't find a lens, I have two here not in use. I can get a close estimate on the P&P and you can decide if it's worth it. Note: P&P only. Lens is FOC.
