Hi All, Had an interesting little gremlin pop up the other evening. The red bulb warning light, the one that goes out after you hit the front and rear brakes as a test, would blink on briefly. I specify evening as the blink is very quick and faint and might be missed during full sunlight. Of course normally the light popping on means that the brake bulb is failing or has failed. But this would only happen after a ride and when I squeezed the front brake lever never for the rear. And it would just barely blink and then go off again, i.e. meaning the brake bulb was operational. I've taken the bulb out and cleaned the contacts thinking maybe it was vibration dependent. But I could get it to do it even when the engine was off but power was on. And as I said it would happen only if I hit the front brake and not for the rear brake.
So I would suspect the lead coming from the front brake. Any suggestions as to where to check?
best regards
