Hello again. I ordered some new OEM fork seals ; pn 31 42 2 310 345 to replace leaking All Balls seals. I'm not sure of the correct side to go up. I checked my manual and it said the side with the spring. Both sides have springs. One side has a flat side with numbers and Marzocchi molded in it. The other is more open with no flat area, just a narrow lip. The all balls seals had the numbers side up and leaked bad. Might just be the brand. Youtube pictures didn't help. Whats right, guys? The story about All Balls seals being good is All Balls, best to use genuine

Flat side up. Good rule of thumb: do not trust non-OEM unless it is sold by a known, reputable BMW parts supplier. In this case the aftermarket part will almost certainly have been tested to destruction during evaluation because it's the supplier's name and reputation on the line.

And Rick? Go find a crocodile-infested swamp for that joke. It was beyond terrible... but good Very Happy
