Hi Everyone,

In 1984 my dad gave me some money to buy a K100RS - much to my Mum's dismay. 

I let the registration lapse on my 1976 Suzuki GT750 and rode my new blue K as much as 3 young kids would allow. In 1994 I traded the K100RS on a red 1994 K1100RS which I rode every day for another 10 years before selling it in 2004. 

My modern bike is a BMW F800GSA, but I enjoy taking my BMW R60/2 out as often as possible.

Recently a good friend decided to sell his 1984 K100RS, so I bought it. I pick it up in a few weeks and look forward to getting reacquainted with a genuine classic, both on the road and in the shed.

No doubt I'll learn a lot from this group and will share my learnings when I can.
