I bought what was advertised as a 1983 K100 seat, but when it arrived it turned out to be a 1985 seat, the one where the seat handles are in the tail unit not attached to the seat.
So now I have a brand new K100 seat for 1985 on K series for sale.....any one interested???
International shipping is expensive, but not to bad here in NZ.
Let me know if any one is interested.

Cheers
Mike

Your alternative is to keep the seat and find an '85 on tail section. There are often these parts going cheap if someone is doing a "cafe" butcher job.

Unless you are wanting to keep your' 83 bike fully original.

Just make sure you also get the internal black cover for the seat hump too as the early and late ones are not interchangeable. The later seat is wider to accomodate Big Bavarian Bums (tm).

I am keen to keep it all original, I have had the bike since 1984.
