Hello all, and thanks for having me!

Fairly new rider, got my M stamp over the summer. Started with a Kawasaki KLX250 and quickly outgrew it for a F850GS.

When I sold the Kawa, my f850 got lonely and I decided I needed a winter project, so I picked up a 1990 K100 with about 8500 miles to wrench on during the winter months.

Gonna start with a spline lube and just basic maintenance and go from there. Might make it a sidecar rig for me and my boys (9 and 6), turn it into a scrambler, or just keep it the nice retro looking beauty she is.

It might even replace my 850 as my daily rider. Was totally amazed at how smooth that 30 year old k bike ran.

WelKome to the Knuthaus.. Totally amazed were you so keep it amazing and keep it as it was new and when you think it is getting boring just remember that is because it does everything so well.

I've learned long ago that boring isn't bad. Just like you say, it tends to just mean everything is going right.
