howdy again.
i have an aftermarket speedo installed (motoscope mini) and am tidying up the wiring + harness. as part of this task, i'm wiring / re-wiring the exciter circuit. i had hoped to use these items, but wanna make sure they're both appropriate before ordering + installing them:
BULB
https://www.amazon.com/Auto-Meter-2388-Bulb-Socket/dp/B00062YVZM
CONNECTOR
https://shop.revivalcycles.com/waterproof-20-22-awg-mini-wire-connectors-mizu-p25/
QUESTIONS
thanks as always.

QUESTIONS
- i'm unable to find info regarding the wattage of the bulb... this is an incandescent, for sure, but in reading related forum posts, i've seen that 12v 3w bulbs are the best for this application... do these seem ok?
- same question with the connector here. i've used these connectors elsewhere on the bike (for LED turn signals) but they're only rated for 3 amps per channel. how much power needs to flow through this exciter circuit?
thanks as always.
