Since "the financial manager" allowed me to buy a parts bike, to put my 88 parts bike back together, I had to agree to put the 87 up for sale... So $10,000, and I can tell her I posted it! JUST KIDDING.
I would sell it for $3200 OBO, and am interested in trading it for a different K bike. A running, or almost running K1100RS, a K100RS or a K75RT. Partial trades OK; if trading up, it cant be by much... or I'd be sleeping in the garage.
The bike is a 1987 K75S I just recently bought, before discovering I am old enough that the S faring is not big enough for me to hide behind. I can't believe I got old enough to admit that!
I did add the Areoflow smoke tint windshield, but if you prefer the stock height Gustafson screen. I have not even ridden it with the new windscreen yet!
It has a progressive suspension 412 shock on the rear, so I assume it has their springs in front as well. Fairly new Pilot Activ shoes on 'er as well. All the bikes cosmetics are in good shape... no road rash or damage, although not owned by someone that enjoys polishing all the shiny bits - either be or the PO. Had LED taillight conversion that goes through a flashing sequence before going solid. Truthfully, I have not done much with this bike except ride it to work several times. Seems to be running fine to me, for the short time I had it, and same for the PO. He had it longer, but has a stable of 4 other bikes as well, so didn't ride it a ton either.
Some minor paint problems, leading me to believe it is a respray in the stock color. Did not hold up well around gas cap. But looks great from ten feet back. Headlight high beam switch frozen, but that should be fixed in next few days. Either cleaned up, or swapped with 88 parts bike.
I have also swapped out the seat with a dual corbin, or I have a stock seat that needs a recover. negotiability exists!

1988 K75S Marrakesh Red (643) Vin 0151479 (08/14/1987) Bought 05/2005 with 14,500 miles. Rode till 2009 at 35Kmiles. Stored in poor shape since.
1993 K1100RS Mystic Red Parts Bike. Seems mostly complete, apparently only 9100 miles!
