yes I`m sure we all remember the song given the age-poll conducted a few months ago,however,can anyone remember the following version sung by an old English folk / comedian singer called fred Wedlock in the 70`s.
Fred`s first verse went like this.. (do sing it to urselfs to the same tune)
"If I were the Holy Ghost
And your name was Mary,
You could marry a carpenter,
But you`ll have my baby ! "
