Is someone able to supply the physical dimensions of the brushes used in the starter motor please, when new

Hi Packo, it's amazing what we can find in the spares stash when we go looking.

I have a new set and the dimensions are;
Armature contact surface is 6 x 9 mm and the brush is 12mm long.

Which brushes are you using and how suitable are they, like size and that?

Using brush set E40-0059 supplied by JAS Oceania (Suits Denso)
Dimensions : 6.59 x 9.93 x 16.14
Look just a bigger version of the correct ones hence the filing.
Got 4 in a packet ($8.31) and I have done one set "freehand" with success so thought if I could get the correct dimensions I would get the other set ready and fit to an old brush holder I have
