Hi guys!

Even thought I have lurked quite much of this forum, especially before buying a "brick". I faced some problems that really needs urgent joining to this forum where I see is a lot of expertise, luckily!

Coming from 5 years of riding motocross as a hobby I decided also that it would be nice to have road bike. As I don't have...err...use not to have too much of friend I always think it would cost hell of a lot to have motorbike. Seems not so decided to search BMW K100 from the year I was born, 1984. Few years back I found her in a decent original condition with 114tkm's. In these few years also my girlfriend has bitten by motorcycle bee, and now she wants to do moto trips with me, super fun! 

Hope I can have help here for ongoing problems and give something also back to BMW community.

Wow, you got a very nice early RS, one of the forum members here in Ireland has an indentical machine. That one might have the early "hot cams" which is a great find.

On the forum there are no stupid questions but do use the google search menu on the portal page.

Thanks! I will keep them both  First idea was to make brat-bike from it, but let that idea go after I got her. Just too good as original.

Please don't chop that beautiful K ! If you want a cafe/brat thingie I will trade you a 16v K100rs that's already half complete as a project and deliver it to Sweden!

Nice to have yo here . Should meet somewhere in capitol area to compare bikes? I got my bike ready during the winter. It turned from a gloomy black to a bright red . Almost in original condition, just an exhaust is from another K-model.

Hey! Nice to have Finnish fellow here  We should! Just have to get she back to the road.

Btw, if you ever have problems with bike, I have few spares to try, feel free to contact me in that case.

@88 No worries! She was way too good condition for that! Have to say I didn't except that when I bought her for really good price.
