Hello from East Bay (Panama City) Just picked up a ‘93 K1100 LT. ,A non- runner that had been sitting for awhile. (With gas in the tank) Cleaning the tank innards while Waiting for my fuel pump kit to arrive . 
Not my first brick, just the biggest as I’ve has 3 K75s. I,ll post a pic when I figure out how.

One of my bricks had a rusty pump, and a level sensor fully covered in rust, surprisingly they both worked. I just cleaned the non fragile bits and left it at that. Yeah that's the lazy way.

Thanks,the windings were shot ,I took it apart and cleaned it real good, installed the sender , the pump and filter ,buttoned it all up ,going to install the tank tomorrow, put the battery in ,and hopefully it’ll crank.

thanks for  welcome. . Spent the day putting the old girl back together. Crank, but no start. Fuel pump sleeping. No voltage at gr/wh from tank connector. Checked fuses. Relay?
