Hello All,

Been riding bikes since 1990

Currently have a 2005 R1200GS, 1994 K100LT and 1982 R100RT.

The GS is my every day ride.

Planning to make the K100 into some sort of street scrambler thing.

R100 needs a fair bit of TLC.  Trying to decide whether to cafe racer it or restore to original.

The R100 was inherited from my father a few years ago, so quite an emotional attachment to it.

As Teapot One says... Live your life!

Cheers,

Gordon

My 3d bike and my very 1st new bike and also my 1st BMW was a 1982 R100, bought new in February 1983... crossed the USA on that bike 8 times... and at about 119,000 miles I wrecked it and almost killed myself in 1988 haha... all in my somewhat misspent 20s :-)

Welcome! Your post triggered some buried memories for me.
