Afternoon everyone I have lowered the foot pegs on my K1 to too my leg length and it as worked however when lowering them it also pushes them outwards.I need and gear lever extender .Which I can see on some sites but not for a K1. Is k1100 the same diameter gear lever there are no tech drawings on the sellers sites

The splined gearbox shaft is the same. Same for boxers too, same for the linkages, same for.....

(It's BMW)

I know that Honda has the same spline on most of it's models and Suzuki is usually a coarser spline, Kawasaki is a bit of both and as for Yamaha I couldn't say.

Standard K1's have an adjustable linkage, I used a piece of 6mm threaded bar to adjust mine.

I also had to modify the brake pedal (cut and welded)

...those short splined arms and linkages come in awfully useful when you're building, erm, cafe racers.

Knowing what that came from, it hurts to look at that photo. I was a horrified witness to the thread about that build. That guy in Mexico destroyed a beautiful, cherry K1 just to avoid having to do a little bit of yellow powder coat on the wheels. I wonder if he still has it.

Yamaha are the same as Honda, top tip Gear lever extender 447221

Got one sorted ilum gear lever extension hopefully it fits the diameter my bike gear lever
