Looking at this wiring diagram, for post-1990 K75 bikes, but I can't see any connection to ground (other than the battery).

Is the brown wire connected to ground somewhere / somehow?

The earth wires are brown there is a cluster next to the ignition switch connector in the top left hand corner of your diagram.. A coloured wiring diagram would make it easier. Just trace the brown wires.
Regards Martin.

If you mean on the bike, the battery earth lead usually goes to the gearbox, near the left foot peg.

Under the tank is a frame bolt that multiple earth wires connect to.

Some put the ground from the battery on to one of the starter mountings so check there.

There is also a bunch of grounds under the gas tank bolted to the frame tube.

Edited the tarter there.....

Its early in the day. Give us a chance.

I had been tempted to say 'the ground is under the tyres'.

Agreed! Any thoughts on where I could get one?

Thanks everyone! Looks like I got my answer. Seems weird they would include a specific symbol in the legend for "Frame Ground", then not use it anywhere in the wiring diagram.

You're in luck if you click on Forum and scroll down until you see Downloads/ Uploads and click on it. Scroll down until you see Uploads and click then click on Click here to access the tech page.  If you click on I agree your whole world will open up, the diagram is in the electrical section.
Regards Martin.
