Im in the middle of turning my RS into a cafe racer and need som advice regarding cutting the frame and also about brakelights.

Alright! First question: i dont want to put on a loop but keep the tubes sticking out. If i cut Well before the spring, do i still need to put anything in between the tubes to make the frame sturdy?

Second question: i would like to put some brakelights into the tubes to close them off.. does anyone have experience with this? I fear that lights needs to be custom fitted since its a weird size inside the tube. Cant find any here in Denmark Sad

Thanks alot in advance Smile

That second pic looks like it's using a 3mm or 4mm flat bar to brace across the back. Yes; you need a brace, otherwise the frame is going to flex like crazy.
