Hi all, 

She started out as a 1983 K100RS in a pretty sorry state, after coming home in Nov last year it’s now come full circle and is back on the road, now in K100 Basic spec. 

From what I can remember the following items were attended to during the refurb:

Master Cyl’s rebuilt
All callipers rebuilt
New pads all round
All brake lines & both reservoirs replaced 
New front bearings
Spline lube from clutch to final drives
Oil changes throughout
New fork seals + oil
Rear shock rebuilt
New headset bearings
New fuel pump damper & filter
New fuel lines internal & external
Injectors cleaned & new seals fitted
Water/oil pump rebuilt (twice )
New Z hose
New tyres
Basic K radiator shrouds & headlight sourced
Radiator flushed, hoses cleaned/replaced 
Wiring repaired where req
Starter button replaced, all switches cleaned
Starter motor overhauled
Alternator overhauled
Isolation switch & charge lead/battery added
All painted bits repainted
Numerous other missing bits sourced & replaced, other stuff I can’t remember

Now it’s done there’s just a few little jobs to keep me going.

That's a great job, it's good to see a standard K back on the road. Some people don't overlike the looks of the naked K, but I think it's a great looking thing - that radiator cowl is unlike anything else. 'course, I did buy one back in '87 

Great work Dan and keep up the good wo9rk. My old 86 RT has a radiator shroud like that. Pretty hard to come by these days.

Nice job - and I'm utterly ashamed to say I threw away a complete naked radiator cowl when I got my first brick. Didn't know they were rockinghorseshit at the time.

Beautiful job cleaning the bike up and getting it sorted!  Love the vanity plate in the B&W shot above too.

Thanks for all the positive comments gents, she’s getting a few KM on her now, still getting used to the K “quirks” but very much enjoying it.

Managed to get out for a “50KM” radius ride today, loving this mild weather.

Looking really good, Dan very shortly they should be opening it up to 5 people get togethers so we'll have to arrange a get together ride. And we're also looking at doing another workshop day.
