Thought it would be appropriate for me to actually get around to saying hello.
Have owned my lovely K100RS for almost 3 years,  but known it for more than 20, as it was my fathers since 1998.

It has been driven too little due to logistic challenges , as the bike had to be stored more than half an hour away from home.

Recently moved to the suburbs of Copenhagen, and gained a garage big enough for My brick, and "more" Smile .

My K was first put on the road in Jan 1984, but after 180k km decided to shear the 8 connection pins between the engine and the "road". The most economical option was a donor bike that had been totaled due to fairing damages, so the engine and drivetrain was swapped, and the bike "lost" 80k km's that way.

It's currently incapacitated, as I'm awaiting the arrival of a new clutch actuation rubber boot, as it started to leave a rainbow like streak in the rain!     Time for an introduction 652573

Yeah I quite like the Red and the rainbow effect, and the combination they make together. Working in upstream O&G I have likely become partial towards that slight sheen.
Anyways, the parts have arrived from Motorworks, so should be down to only red soon! Very Happy

Nice red K! cheers

Is that a lock on the rear tire in that picture.

Look like the peg plates were upgraded with the engine.
