Hi all,

Looking for a good condition monolever final drive and drive shaft.

Let me know what you’ve got.

Welcome to the forum, good to see you and you will find everyone very helpful.

K75 rear disc brake [will fit K100 but different ratio/higher revving] or K75 rear drum brake or K100 [all disc and will fit K75 unless you are fussy about the ratios.?

Thank you for the warm welcome Smile

I definitely need the disc brake version and would prefer K100 but I guess it depends on how easy/hard finding one turns out to be.

A package deal with the swingarm included would be great.
I’m converting a K11RS if anyone is interested in trades or purchase..

A few things you forgot to mention:

1 - 16 splines (85 and earlier K100s) or 20 splines (86 and later K bikes)

2 - Final drive gear ratio: 33:11, 32:11 or 31:11 (K100) vs. 32:10 (K75)

3 - Final drive color: Silver or black

Hi Duck,

Does the spline count make much of a difference if I’m buying them together?

If you're looking for a silver K100 FD I'd go for 16 spline since those seem to wear less than the 20s.

Good to know, thanks!
I’m not too picky about colour and ratio.

I didn't mention the spline count because if you buy the matched pair its ok. The gearbox end didn't change, only the the final drive end, from 16 to 20. If you buy from different sources then be careful. You can buy 20 spline ends brand new and get them welded on.

Yea, I’ve seen a lot of poor condition splines on eBay and thought of buying any old unit and having that done would be the easiest way to source.
But am still hoping to avoid that debacle, I figure members here must be trading higher quality parts. *fingers crossed*

You're converting K11RS Paralever to monolever? Why if I may ask?

For the shorter wheelbase mostly.
But I’ll admit it also has to do with aesthetics...

I’m gathering parts for a build inspired by JJ Cobas / 80’s endurance racers and think the mono will suit it better. Starting with an 11RS frame/wheels/front end, 12RS engine/11RS gearbox/100 drive.

You going to put "Marlboro" on the fairing? You have some pictures of this inspiration?

I go pick up a pallet of parts some time this week I get back with you

This is likely the inspiration.
WTB Monolever FD + Shaft Jj_cob10

If it is, Motorbike Mike created a excellent version in this thread. Bambi is taking a different tack at it.

Yes! Love that build by Motorbike Mike. Also learned a lot from Two Wheels Better and his big block thread.
