I live near Lisbon, I have been riding a motorcycle since I was 14 and now at 58 I like motorcycles even more than when I was young. Here in Portugal it is possible to ride a motorcycle all year round and I enjoy whenever I can to ride. I've traveled all over Western Europe and also Morocco. I am the happy owner of several BMW motorcycles, a R1200GS Lc of 2017 that I use daily, a 1978 R100RS and 1988 K75S which brings me to this forum, as well as some Honda such as the 1980 CBX1000 and 1983 CB1100F Super Bol D'Or.
With this quick introduction, I extend my compliments to all users of the BMW K100 forum and thank you for being accepted as a member.

My favourite place in Portugal is the Algarve west (very west!) of Albufiera. Don't like Albufiera itself.

Nice bikes and a nice place to ride, Pedro.  I was in Portugal during July of this year.  I rode around the Douro and was very impressed with the beauty of the area.  It was uncomfortably hot at times and there were fires,  so my next visit will be in the Spring or Fall.  In any case, I'm looking forward to returning to your great country for more exploring.  Welcome to the forum, Pedro.
