Hello, I have recently acquired a late 1992 K75 registered as a '93. Not new to motorcycling, so the K75 has stablemates; a KLR650 and a 1970 Moto Guzzi V-750 currently registered and insured, and a 1974 Suzuki TS125 enduro and 1965 Vespa VBB not registered. The Suzuki runs. The Vespa will be a retirement project, which is hopefully just another year or two away.

Always grateful for the wealth of experience and info to be found in these online communities,

Ian

Welcome.

What do you mean late 92 registered as a 93?  For the most part US Ks for a given model year were built in the latter half of the prior year which is probably the case for your bike.

Just that the date on the sticker is October 1992, first registered in NY as a '93 model.

That's pretty typical.

I have a 93 K1100LT built in 10/92 and a 93 K1100RS built in 11/93.
