Earlier this year Paul rescued this 31K 92 K75RT from a ten year stint in a motorcycle museum in Iowa and had it shipped out west for me to bring back to life. Yesterday Paul rode over to my place from Seattle and we took a nice sunny day ride out to Westport, Washington to visit The Pacific Ocean.
I’d planned on having fish and chips for lunch but got seduced by this prime rib and Swiss.
There’s a tower in Westport for viewing the ocean.
Unbeknownst to us ahead of time, it was Pirate Days this weekend.
Westport is a rather small salmon fishing town with a population of about 2,000. Here’s what Pirate Days looked like from the tower.
After that we took a short ride down the coast. This picture would have been better if the sun were behind us but you get the idea.
A here’s The World’s Best K75 where the Hamma Hamma River flows into Hood Canal.
