I just bought the bike last weekend, ran great, 77000 miles, today started having a clunking noise in my driveshaft area, as I would slow down, if I need a rebuild kit, where do I get one, and what are my best options, not wanting to spend a lot.

You will need to remove the drive (4 x 10mm Allen head bolts) and from there remove the drive shaft but I suspect that it could be a uni joint. Have a search of the forum there are some Aussies who have replaced the uni.

Hi K32Kwaka,
Welcome

Does the odometer work and the mileage seem genuine?

Pop in the model and year....drive shaft changed from 16 to 20 spline in the early years....20 spline you can use K75/K100 but if you have a 16 spline you need an early K100 only, all K75 are 20 spline. An option if you have 16 spline is to swap to later 20 spline with a later 20 spline K100 final drive, straight swap. K75 will do it but its different ratio.
