If you are reading the forum on a phone, it could be a bit difficult to navigate between the topics.
A new application (apps) for Android and Apple is available.
This is basically a news reader. It seems to work well but the snag is that this application wants to have access to too many things on your phone (pictures, contacts, location.....). For this reason, I personally won't use it.
If you want to try it on your phone, follow THIS LINK (This will not work on a regular computer).

I had a facebook app on the phone ...blooming thing took so much cpu power and other unseen crap, I ditched it pretty quickly.

most of these types of app are really just a convenient way of gathering more information to "sell on" to the ad market by the developer  .

I use an Android (Samsung Galaxy S8+) and used to be able to use my mobile to view and post to the forum - even pictures. The past couple of weeks (or more) it re-directs to the 'it app, and when logging in doesn't allow the user to actually log in. I only see things as a guest and cannot reply. It makes no difference which browser I use, or if I use 'private browsing', it always re-directs to 'it. If I ignore 'it then I can only view the Forum page and not the Portal page. I gave up, and now only use my home laptop to view the forum.

I am not the one making changes. This is certainly straight from the forum provider.
I was under the impression that you could login with the apps.
I will look at the problem.

Yeah, I figured it was external. The problem is that it just doesn't recognise log-ins.

I just used the Topic'it App on my test phone and at the bottom of the screen it has a login button.
In fact I am replying from the app on the phone.
After login, when you go on a post, the bottom of the screen has a "Reply" button.
The good thing is that pictures are showing up too.
Not a bad app if you are not afraid to give access to some of your data to the developer. (All the free apps are basically demanding access to your phone book and pictures. Mad )

Sent from Topic'it App

Got it. After multiple attempts at signing in/up for the app I am now able to log in to topic'it and the forum simultaneously. It's convoluted, but works. It's always gonna have its little "sent from topic'it" at the bottom of every post - can't be deleted. Unless you re-open your post and "validate" it, then it goes away. You must also open the topic'it app and search for the forum instead of opening a browser and going to the forum directly.

The future's so bright I've gotta wear shades.

After many, many months of successfully accessing the forum on my mobile phone and not having to use the bloody Topic It app it is back to requiring its use to access, even if you've chosen the 'web version' mode. It seems there is now no choice. Basically, I hate this app. It looks like I won't be using the forum on my phone if I only have access to it on the app from my mobile. I'll have to leave it go til I can use my PC. Has anyone else noticed the change or perhaps it's something with Samsung Galaxy phones? I dunno. I hate change when it makes things more difficult and less functional.

The clever, hand-written sign in the local coffee shop, attached to the tip jar, reads "If you don't like change, leave it here."

That's me.

You might be able to get around this by employing a different user agent to make your mobile appear to be a PC.

The "web version" works on my phone.  (But it's a Luddite phone running Android 4.4.2.)

It works on mine too.
I tried to temporary disable Topic It on the forum to see if it solves TWB's problem.
We'll see from there.

It must be a recently changed or updated Samsung mobile browser issue on my end. To remedy, I attempted to access the forum from my mobile using the DuckDuckGo browser (I did note the humorous coincidence there) and that browser allowed me to access the 'web version' button which got me straight into the forum as a guest without having to bother with Topic It. Just gotta recall my forum password for full access. The more things get increasingly complicated the more I wanna strip away the layers for the purity of simplicity.

Update: at the end of the day I can access the forum through either DDGo or Samsung's browser I just cannot get my known credentials to allow me to login. So I can view the forum, I just cannot post to it from my mobile. That's more than a bit of a bummer as I use it whilst travelling quite frequently.
