Seems there's a need for an informal gathering of like-minded riders desiring to fiddle with their two wheelers, get 'em up to speed, and such. This is a call to any in the area interested in participating. My current place is available (Milton), but there's a Tacoma garage available Saturdays for a potential gathering place.

Workshops are a great idea. It gives the not so skilled a chance to pickup skills and enables knowledge to be passed on. We should probably see if it is viable to try and start a workshop in SE Qld. BMWQ used to host the occassional workshop.
Regards Martin.

That's a great idea.  I know the Airhead tech days are very well received.  I expect K-bike tech days would as well.   If one is held in the PNW during favorable weather, I'd love to participate.

My first face-to-face encounter with the Krew was a clutch replacement (I think) workshop conducted by the sadly missed Rosskko at RT’s place.

So glad I got mixed up with this mob. 😊

Given the unpredictable crappy weather here in the Northwet, what sort of timing are you thinking of?

Being a native I realize that you just have to ignore the weather and do things anyhow but maybe late April or early May when it might at least be somewhat warm?

Also, anybody who attends needs to have their bike subjected to a mandatory TB sync.  This often gets ignored when it's such a basic thing to making these Kritters run well.  (Whenever somebody comes by my place with a K I just about always offer to do this for them.)

Closer to Springtime just so it's 50f and raining rather than 40f and raining is better for me, too.

I have a pudding here, happy to mail it over, I reckon about 10 days travel time.

All you need to go with it is some fresh cream and/or custard.

It keeps well and because its cooked and no meats there are no issues with food imports. It will travel well.

I will check it out but it should all up be just under 2kg for better postage rate with letter post and not go parcel.

You need to be careful, being a K forum them puddings are brick shaped and some fekr could rob them to build a wall. Maybe label the package sombreros?

Olympia/Tacoma/Seattle area K Bike workshop day 20190121
Have just been to a 'gender reveal' party (a new-fangled things the young parents do these days) and whilst the blue and pink balloons were bursted I was sampling this drop.

By the way, I'll be a grandpa - third time - to a boy after two fine girls.

Now that is a seriously nice whiskey!!!!!

They used to sponsor sailing events which I was responsible for organising......their local office was a few doors up the street from mine. Sponsorship was some cases [12 to a case] of those....and one on top for the organiser.

That will go very well in Irish Coffee too!!!

I'll trade you one plain irony for a gilded coincidence, and raise you a shot.

Redbreast was one of the warmest, least peaty, and smoothest whikkey drops I've had in yonks. I reckon I oughta do an Irish distillery tour, then perhaps hop over to the land o' the Scots for a further taste test. K bikes n whiskey, two great tastes that go together.
