Welcome too. If you have a lot of metal plates and pins you need to be careful. Some of the guys have a charismatic and magnetic personality so you could be well attracted to the forum. Hopefully you are not rusty behind the ears.

Nice to have you on board too, do you get to travel much? We do sort of like occasionally to meet up and you will find everyone very helpful so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Welcome Moriarti Very Happy

Good to have a granny here, makes me feel young again lol!

Had my share of cracking bikes and bones lately, but got my second bike and got up again.
Keep the shiny shit to the sun, and those black things hit the road! Cool

Welcome along Moriarti - it's taken you a few years to find the forum, but hopefully, you will be glad you did.

Left indicator won't cancel - sticky switch? The buttons do build up a certain amount of grime which can make them stick on and the contacts are prone to a little corrosion (which usually makes them not work) on this damp little island we call home.

Easy enough to check/fix - a single philips head screw holds the left hand switch block onto the clutch lever assembly. Remove that and you will have access to the inner workings of the switch unit to be able to remove & clean the buttons and clean up the contacts. Top tip - place a shoe box under the switch gear before you start dismantling to catch those small screws and springs that will make a bid for freedom.

Good luck

P.S. Plates and pins just increases our scrap value and makes us harder to burn.
