Hello everyone, not exactly new to the forum BUT i havent posted until now.

I am building a CUSTOM - NAKED K100RS, it is almost done but it sat for almost a year and it wont start, cranks, fuel  pressure is ok but injectors are not working.

Will start solving this issue but any help is appreciated.

Are the injectors blocked from stale fuel or do you think there is an electrical problem?

How did you come to the conclusion that the injectors aren't working?

Hola , Welcome to the forum. I brought back a 1988 K100 RS from a 15 year sleep.What I found is that not only do you need to make sure the entire fuel delivery system is all clean and in good working order but you also nave to go thru just about every electrical connection on the bike  cleaning off any corrosion and greasing them with dilectric grease .I took my injectors out and soaked them in fuel injector cleaner for a few days (full strength) You know,the additive you dump into the gas tank once  in a while. Use new O rings when re assembling .Good luck with your build.
PS , I could use a set of mirrors.

Mirrors, not PERFECT, but close, will send pics.

I went thru all of the connections, yet have to check all relays (already had to replace starter relay), also installed new injectors, new battery, but still have to check HAL sensor, water temp sensor and MAF voltages.

Right now i am freshening up all fluids and doing mostly a thorough cleanup of every nut and bolt. 
Wish BMW had used stainless steel bolts, every one of them is RUSTED, so i might have them all plated.

Also have a small oil leak, hope is something simple.

This bike was NEGLECTED, it has less than 14k miles but ZERO maintenance. Brake fluid was brown and full of particles, injectors were probably all working at 60 percent. Gas tank had so much dirt i had to wash it several times. 
Fuel pump and fuel regulator replaced (with adjustable one). 
The gauges are more less working, there is lots of corrosion and 2 pins are broken, anyway i think i am going to replace with new custom gauges.
The front forks are soft as a 50 year Cadillac, need to change fluid and probably replace the springs (or add a spacer to increase pre-load)

About the mods...

Removed all the fairing, installed a LED headlight, wider handlebar (easier to ride), new brake lines, shortened the tail around 10 inches, modified the seat and tail to keep the K100 "C" Naked looks but make it a bit more up to date. 
It is not meant to be a Cafe Racer, just make it lighter, shorter and easier to ride, and still have place for a passenger.


The tank is now brushed aluminum, it will be clear coated for durability.
The rest painted mate metallic silver.

Tires are like 10 years old so i will replace them ASAP for lower and wider profile rubber.

So..it is a work in progress...

Those kits skip some bolts (either because they're bigger and more expensive or for liability reasons) like brake caliper bolts, rotor bolts and peg plate bolts.

I use a local screw supply place and do my own.  That way I get all the bolts I want like the peg plate bolts and M10 button heads for the front calipers since I think they look better than cap heads.

If you need to know the sizes for any of the bolts they can be found in any BMW online parts fiche like RealOEM.

There's an easy way to tell if it's a fuel issue.  Take the snorkel off of the air box and spray some starter fluid in there. You don't need to remove the air filter to do this. Then try to start it.  If you're getting spark then the bike should fire up and run for a second or two, confirming that your issue is fuel delivery.

Sounds like a real nice build you are doing. It is amazing how many of these are to be had with such low mileage .Mine was the same way ,it had 12000 on it. You'll have a real good machine when you get it all sorted.  Just shoot me a photo or two of the mirrors and a price. I'm a traveler and things happen out in the world so I want some spares that I can have mailed to me from home in needed next summer when I head out for 3 months of wandering.on this baby
