On the 2v Bricks they have a feature to check the mixture. With the engine revs set at 1000rpm pressing the starter button enriches the mixture. If the mixture is correct the revs should stay the same or rise very slightly. If the revs rise significantly the mixture is too lean. If the revs die or the engine cuts the mixture is too rich. The mixture can be adjusted using an exhaust gas analyser or using the lean drop method.
Regards Martin.

Please fill in the required info such as country and state/city you're from, then someone in a nice white suit will be along to assist you in your query. Also, please limit your question to one section of the forum that seems pertinent to the issue. Thanks, cheers and good luck solving it.

Check out your connections to the Ignition Control Unit ICU under the tank and to the Fuel Injection Control Unit FICU under the seat.

Go for the unit under the seat first, that plug may not be best seated, take it out and clean the pins.

If that doesn't work then go for the ICU under the tank but also check the connector up from the temperature sensor to the loom and the Hall Effect Sensor HES to the loom. You should be able to follow the wires.

The fact that it runs with the starter button pressed says its getting fuel and sparking ok. But it needs a second signal to stay running and that's where your issue lies. My friend locally here looks after K bikes and often asks me to 'call over and fiddle with it' when he has one in with these issues.
