Guys I have Just bought another K as a Cafe Racer style project, I want to totally remove the front and rear ABS, including taking as much out of the loom as possible. I have searched on here but cannot seem to find the info I need, if anyone can help me out I would be very grateful, the new one is a 1988 LT Model.

Paul

The ABS wiring is all separate so you should be able to remove just about all of it.

As Duck says, I was able to unplug and remove 90% of the non-functioning ABS wiring loom from a K1100LT harness. Some of it involved cutting out the unnecessary pieces and taping/heatshrinking them off. Saves a bundle of weight, too!

Great thanks guys. There is the control unit (I presume that I what it is called!) right at the back of the bike which is fed from the harness right at the front....what I want to do is to cut that out completely,  is it a case of cutting the wires and heat shrinking over or would I need to join anything together?
