Agreed, these older K bikes are so easy over the road. Their stability and relative nimbleness make them a great sport-tourer. I pick the smaller B & C roads whenever I can and let 'er rip! But she'll sit all day on the motorway at 120 kph+ and get you home unfussed too.
The waterpump/oil seal swap isn't too drastic a job for the careful home mechanic. You'll find heaps of useful info here and if not just shout out.

This shirt was bought at a MOA rally in the US.

We'd have to change the 'silverware' bit to 'cutlery' for it to have a punch line Down Under...
And yeah, the All Blacks comment was by me some months ago and it got hijacked...but I said Go All Blacks (Kiwi team for those not in the know) and some fellow Aussies had a go at that...all in fun.

I agree 100% with you. This is only for fun as we don't have any hooligans registered on this forum. We are bikers and humans too. I did enjoyed this thread picking at you people from down under (Yes K-Bike will deny this). Even if we concentrate on our bikes, it's always good to have 'off topic' subjects.
A good debate is a good exchange of ideas.
But.... lets not start again with the All Blacks!
Cheers

One more sporting try then I'll stop...
I don't at all, ever, watch rugby, Aussie rules footy, basketball, baseball, volleyball (OK, except for maybe sometimes the female beach kind!), tennis, netball, soccer (the other football), gridiron (the other other football), or any sport where humans chase a ball round a field, including golf. But what I do enjoy immensely, and I've been known to stay up late on a 'school night' to watch them, is WSBK and MotoGP (mainly because Down Under we HAVE to stay up late due to the time difference).
The only balls in that sport are worn by the men who ride at the pinnacle like these blokes. Now, that could start another thread entirely! Gentlemen, start your engines.

Y'know, Im seriously considering respraying my 16v.
The previous 3 K100RS's Ive had have all been 'Style' all-black models and I reckon they look ageless. I know its a lot of hassle to take off the bits & itll cost me more than the bikes worth, but its not like Im ever gonna sell.
What dya think folks?

Hey Bonzo,
If you do respray would luv to see you post in the resto forum! I'm going to have to do some painting as well and it would be great to see how guys are tackling it.

Most of the Canadian team members are immigrants from England!
