I bought this 87 K100RS back in 2000.  Rode it like I stole it for 5 yrs (commuter bike - several longer trips) then got 94 R100GS and the ol girl sat for over 8yrs.  Just got her back up and running ( new fuel tank and pump, rear tire / brakes, etc.)   With only 67K miles I am looking forward to riding this bike for a long time.

Don't worry about the R bikes...

Lots on the forum have more than just a K....sometimes lots of Ks.....and sometimes other bikes like R bikes, Ducatis, Guzzis and other exotica with two or more wheels.

Good to see you back...

Welcome to the forum .I wouldn't worry about having other bikes too much.I have Yamaha 2 stroke twins 250cc - 350cc from the mid 60's into the early 70's,a R60/5,a Moto Guzzi 850-T,the K100,a 66 valiant convertible,a 65 valiant station wagon,a 71 chevy c20 pick up . I think most of us here are gear heads with very varied interests. You'll find much help here and good people.
