Greetings from Weston FL (near Miami). I’m fortunate enough to have a small collection of Vintage BMWs, including a K1 imported from England and a K100.

Mostly as a hobbie, with a friend, I have built a few K100 cafe bikes and in the process have found invaluable information in this forum. I thought it was time for me to register and introduce myself.

Looking forward to meeting you here!

Greetings Santiago, and welcome on here and also from Ireland.
Funny enough I also have a brother living up the road from you in North Lauderdale.
He's more into boats than bikes, though he's had a few of them too

Small world

Hi All, thanks for all the welcome messages. Small world indeed, looks like there are many more Irish in FL than I thought (I moved here from Boston).

Cheers.

Of course there's an Irishman in Boston. Wouldn't be any fun if there weren't!
(My father was originally from the 'Beantown' area)

Enough of this talk about Ireland, although I have an Irish name and family heritage from Cork, this welkome is from Australia.

Nice to hear that you have been playing with K bikes for a while and have now chosen to get on board.

Cheers

Funnily enough, I don't have a brother in Florida but I also have an Irish surname, have been to Cork, Tampa, Orlando and Kissimee and live in Australia.

I have been playing with K bikes for a while and got on board a few years ago.

Oh, and by the way, WelKom.

Actually I am one of the few Anglo Aussies that don't have any Irish ancestory. Most of the others have some boast about a connection to that F%^&*n Blarney stone or or that stupid Post Office that took up 134 city blocks or the like.  Mine is all Scots.
Why was Orlando so cold because the dumb F*#@*6s kept complaining about global warming so they got something to complain about. Hello from Florida 44271 Hello from Florida 44271 Hello from Florida 44271
