G'day All, a funny thing happened a couple or so weeks ago. I had to see the bloke the K100 (AKA the 'Goulburn Bike') was sold to and with one thing leading to another the bike followed us home with Gaz's and Waz's much appreciated assistance. The K pox has struck again. The plan is to fit the Krauser fairing (thanks Waz) and the radiator shroud and wings, have it painted and then see what happens. I really did not need a project , but it seems it is the only cure for the pox.

Thanks for all your replies. I think I'll be rights with Seanni's medical consultant. Caveman, you are probably right that carking it is the only cure - I'll wait and see.
Charlie, it is not AGAIN but still... Stan, I'm not sure I have come to my senses (maybe never had any) but I'm looking forward to this because mechanically the bike is not too bad. We will keep you posted. Cheers Tom

Something to while away those Autumn/Winter days

I was happily enjoying a nice camp site in France last September, evening and a glass of wine and the K100RT parked up nicely when I suffered an attack of the K pox.

I caught this outbreak from 88 who was back in Ireland. The virus got me through my phone when it read as 'Fintan is selling his K1100 and I thought you might like to know'.....

I collected it the week after I got back from France.

Then it cracked its exhaust as they all do.

So it got a barking new exhaust system with 'Remus' written on it.

Now I'm a happy camper.

I don't lust after a K1. I do love them but I can't manage the riding position for long. Hence no RS either.

Thanks again for your replies but Paul, as know autumn and winter are the best riding times here. So I'll be whiling away days in the summer. I'll give it a year to complete. Cheers Tom
