Hi All,

First of all, What an excellent resource this online community is. I couldn't not be a member after the hours ive spent perusing different topics when google searching specific K100's questions I have had.

So, completely new to the K world, and really pretty new to the biking world at that. I have been convinced by numerous other projects to build my own.......café style racer- hence the forewarned apologies' in advance.

I managed to find myself a k bike for a very low price, with extremely low 'genuine' km's. Odometer says 24000 clicks. But who knows! Pictures can do the talking I suppose. I bought the 'project' bike on the basis it hasn't ran in about a year or two, but had an 'extremely clean engine'... Anyway after a few trips to buy some new tools and lots of youtube and haynes book time here are those pictures I mentioned and where my project begins....

Hello From Melbourne 177912 Looks like you'll have quite a few questions there. You'd be better off starting a thread in the Builds forum.

Oh GREAT another flaming Mexican. Hey Turnbull, how about building a wall between NSW and Victoria to keep the riff-raff out of NSW Smile

BTW Welcome to the Knuthouse. A good project would be to take the bike back to original condition.

Thanks Dai. Merely an introduction to me, my project and what I’ve got myself to work with. Will start a thread in the builds forum eventually. Thanks.

Yes, and look at the avatar, its actually 007 and we know what kind of licence he has.

Welcome to the forum too. As you can see there's a bit of banter here as well as very good technical help and advice. As others have said make a new thread and that way you have all your information together,

Polite folk don't talk sex politics and religion, So instead we talk here of tyres oils and cable ties.
