I'm considering swapping everything from one K bike onto another. Basically the project bike has come the engine starts however this needs a lot of work all over.
Now I've got an rs that's an 89 at the moment I'm looking for reasons to justify me having 3 bikes. Can't see it but can see me storing a k. So I'm wondering if it would be possible to switch everything bar the fairing (that would be sold), onto the 1984.
The reason for swapping is I've already got an 84 bike and I know for definite that everything is the same on both bikes; no modifications not in the slightest.
That way I could store the 84 engine on the 89 frame to sort out at a later date. However has anyone done similar before and how much time did it take ?
I know that on K's it's easier to remove the frame from the engine instead of the opposite way around.
