I'm Rob from sunny Hervey Bay in Kweensland.

I recently purchased an '85 K100RS as a bit of nostalgia (I had another one years ago).  The original owner is an old mate who recently decided to hang up his helmet upon his 84th birthdayAnd another one! 2.  I also bought his '01 K1200RS and already had a couple of '97 K12s (one immaculate, one under restoration).  I need a bigger shed!

Looking forward to conversing with you all.

Rob

Oh Great another Cane-Toad.

Welcome to the Knuthouse.

And for those who will say something about the Rugby League, I ask the question, how Queensland teams are in the top 8 of the AFL?

We don't play "kick n giggle" up here just that the silly Mexicans sent 2 teams up and re-branded them.
Hi Rob and welcome to out Knuthaus, we'll get that larrikin back in his cage soon.

Welcome Rob !

I became owner of a 1985 K100RS about 3 weeks ago in an unplanned event.

Today I felt safe to really take her out Smile

Welcome along Rob.

Always good to have another Aussie along - if only to amuse the rest of us with that interstate banter.
So let me see if I've got this right: Victorians are Mexicans and Queenslanders are Cane Toads, so what are New South Walers? I'm sure Larrikin will say "perfect"!

Anyway, you join a great krew down there (several sort of in your neck of the woods), so enjoy it and ride safe.

Those who live in New South Wales live in God's Country. In Queensland the jelly fish can kill you. In Victoria you just get wet nearly every day.

New South Welshman are called Cockroaches...or at least that's how they refer to themselves during the annual State of Origin series.

The term "Cockroach" was first used by a Queensland coach who stated to watch out for the New South wales because they will climb all over you like cockroachs.

Queenslanders used to be banana benders, Tasmanians are apple munchers, West Australians are sand gropers not sure about SA, NT or ACT.

If you go by number plates QLD is the "sunshine state" and Victorian plates say "it's the state to be", so why do so many Mexicans move up here,
