Enroute to the Tablelands Ride to Smithy's joint, Bro Tom, Gaz, Bill (Indian036) and my good self called into the Ocean View pub at Urunga, where the Kamaradarie all started. The date was May 21st, 2011.

I remember getting in touch with RT from somewhere south of Sydney, Robertson. Invited him to stay at my joint, and thence travel together to Urunga. We had only met over the forum, not in person at this stage. After quickly establishing that he enjoyed the lager and the red wine as much as I do, we hit it off straight away.

The Kamaraderie has since grown, with many get-togethers and meet up rides and many friends made. The recent NTL ride at Smithy's indicates the strength of the K-Forum.

Outside the Ocean View the other day...Bro Tom, Gaz, Bill and my good self.

Although I no longer have a K Bike, I will still enjoy this wonderful Forum and the many friends that have been made.

Rickmeister.

A K bike wasn't even a gleam in my eye in 2011!

Having acquired one, I'm so pleased to have become a part of such a great group of people, and after wondering what wild goose chase Rickmeister was leading us on in the course of our ride to smithy's place, was further pleased to be where so much in the life of the Aussie Krew started.

Very Happy

Bill

Nicely put Bill. Definitely a +1 on that sentiment.

I too feel that I have come a very long way since picking up my first K on my return to biking back in June 2012 and have also had the immense pleasure of meeting  many forum members in person at home and further afield. I was introduced to K bikes through a chance conversation, picked one up locally for a good price and have never looked back or regretted the decision since.

Great pic Rickmeister.

I'm sitting here today with gout in my gear changing big toe wondering if I'll have to pull out of another ride tomorrow down to Dalgety. This has cheered me up Rick tks, I will always remember that first night at yours and the trip up there. Never a thought that my newly purchased rough and ready K would let me down.
Cheers everyone RT

My introduction to the Krew was meeting RT and Rickmeister in Coolah on our way up to Esk and Boonah. Many happy moons ago, with many more to come. Must remember to remind Rickmeister not to overtake on the LEFT, whilst I am in the left lane already.
