Looking for experienced opinions on the tires below. I (will) have 18x4.5 rear and 18x2.5 front wheels and searched for tires in these sizes:
110/80/18
160/60/18.
The matching radials I found are:
Bridgestone Battlax T30's - $240/set
Continental Road Attack 2's - $252/set
Pirelli Angel GT's - $260/set
(all prices and availability sourced from jakewilson.com - free shipping, if anyone has a better source, I'm all ears)
Normally I'd just get the more economical tire but with only a $20 difference between the cheapest and most expensive, I figured I'd reach out and see what people like.
This bike does not go on long treks - it's a cafe style bike that goes at most 50 miles in a single direction. I do like carving corners, I don't ride it in the rain (if I can help it), and I'm not too worried about mileage - it will only see maybe 3,000-5,000 miles per year (stored during Chicago winters).
Any opinions?
