Just wanted to ask if anyone has done the upgrade from the earlier model 32 amp alternator to the later model 50 amp alt.?
Any with doing it?

The only benefit comes if you want to run heavy current loads otherwise the 32 amp one is fine for the bike. If you have extra lights and want to run heated clothing, boots and gloves then it is a good idea

Yes, that's what I intend, some long rides in the early spring and late fall with heated vest and gloves.
