So, I'm getting to the pointy end of the K1 restoration and need help with the K1 front badge exact location. If a member has a K1 with known oem paint, I would appreciate a photo with a tape measure included showing the location in relation to the front headlight. I could just take a punt but that might spoil the end result, and then I'll have to live with it Evil or Very Mad. Thanks to Ringfad for help with the rear badge and no end of other stuff I've been pestering him with. 'on ya mate! Very Happy

Hi Richard

My understanding is that the Black k1's did not have a front badge but the other colors did.

The link above shows a few with the front badge fitted but you can see only side badges are fitted on the black models

I know you have added the full graphics to yours, so your call if you want to fit a badge on the front.

Hey Simon, thanks for the link. I have scrolled the web but not found that link and it should do the job. Yes, I have fitted the large K1 graphics because I really dig them, but to be honest, when I bought the bike it was blue and did not realise it was not an oem colour until after I had ordered the graphics. In hind sight, having gone back to metallic black I might have stayed true to the colour and not added the large decals, but who knows... They do look awesome though. I have seen pics of black bikes with both the large K1 decal and the smaller decal with badge as you have and that looks a bit overdone to me.
