I was reading Marty's comment about a get together and as we usually have a meet up in August decided to float the idea of Saturday 11th August.

Usual 9:30am breakfast at Stradbally Fayre and depart 11am?

For the uninitiated is J16 off the M7 [Dublin/Limerick/Cork], towards Carlow, 10km you find Stradbally and its on the left before SuperValu. Petrol station very close to it on the left, best bet is turn at the petrol station and come back up to Stradbally Fayre

Anyone on for it?

Tagged on to this I am planning on camping at www.norevalleypark.com for the weekend. Travel up Friday and possibly come back Monday.

Anyone on for this let me know. Its just a short distance from J9 on the M9 to Waterford and about 40 minutes from there to Stradbally Fayre.

Usually entails various bbq eats etc and very bike friendly.

In truth, weekends are generally out because of work scheduling. I have to plan a long time in advance and decide whether it's worth taking the Friday off so that I can do something on Saturday morning.

That day works for me as well.

Sorry to say that I can't make it over to this meet. Crikey - I haven't been over since the Christmas brunch in Dec 16. Need to do something about that! 

I was supposed to be moving house today...but that has been delayed until next week so, while you lot are enjoying your full Irish breakfast and a healthy dose of kamaraderie , I will be shuffling my worldly goods up to my new place (rental) just to the north of Bristol. Not sure how I will fit everything from a 35' workshop, garage and 2 outhouses into a single integral garage, but such is the challenge of downsizing! 

The new place will only a  mile or so from work too...so my poor old K's are going to be getting a lot less commuting miles under their tyres. I'll have to make it up to them by getting out and doing some more touring instead!

Hope you make it along, we would love to see you. Trying to get Andy Coulter to come down too, also another K owner who lives in Bangor but his K is non running at the minute.

Spoke with 88 [Will] and also had a look at the weather map.

Weather condition suggests we leave from Stradbally Fayre for the Slieve Bloom area and take in some coffee stops possibly finish up at Nora's Cake Shop at Mountmellick with a break for home from there.

Plan is to leave Stradbally Fayre, tank full at 11am. Petrol station beside Stradbally Fayre for the unfamiliar.

Looks like no one else is going to put any snaps up from Saturday so here's a few that I took.
Was great to catch up with the guys after such a long time. Mustn't let it happen again.
