Realize this is a slightly contentious issue to have removed ABS but it wasn't functioning and this is now my project scrambler which I hope to do reasonably cost effectively and learn and do as much if the work myself. Which in most part is an enjoyable experience 

I have all the mechanical stuff removed and the brake lines under the tank. I have not as yet had the guts to cut the ABS wiring to the rear " black box " its all dismantled so my question's are : 

1.Do I follow the wires back to the fuse/relay box and disconnect them at source or cut them through, tape them up and store under the frame under the tank.

2.What is the single brown and white wire for ?

3, The rear ABS sensor runs to the rear black box coupling do I just cut that or will it need to be connected elsewhere ? or can the rear sensor be used for something else like a speedo ? or just blank it off.

Excuse my ignorance but electrics are far from my understanding

Or you could be as crazy as me and completely remove the electrical box then start at the tail and unwrap all of the harness and completely remove the ABS related wiring and relays and then retape the harness - only takes a few days and some of that time is spent wondering if I will ever get this thing running again. Just sayin'

I'm somewhat crazy like yourself I have unraveled all the ABS wiring back to the box but haven't cut anything as yet....disconnected sensors and removed the relays. 

My ODC wants it all gone not sure I can live with having the wiring rolled up under the tank 

I don't know how it effects other parts of the bikes electrical when/if gone is what I would like to establish.

It didn't come through well so will have to send by email it is a K75 with ABS but ABS part is same as K100

Andrew, I removed the ABS from my 1990 K75 and have had no issues at all in the 40,000km I have travelled since.
I removed the brain from the ducktail (since the ducktail was going to be gone in my customisation) and all associated wiring forward to the electrical box. Removed the modulators and their cables and all ABS related brake lines then fitted new custom braided stainless brake lines direct from master cylinder to caliper. At the front I used a double banjo bolt at the master cylinder and ran separate lines down to each caliper, mainly so that I could easily fit a high adventure type guard in the future if I desired without having to redo any brake work. No changes to either master cylinder.

I didn't remove any wiring going to the instrument pod - just removed the smaller of the blue relays and left the base mounted so that now the ABS warning lights are not in play. I think from memory I removed the relay and base of the bigger blue relay.
If removing the ABS suits your project then do it!
