Hello BMW K100ers...I am working on a 1984 K100RT that im planning to turn into a 'Brat Bike'...Can i use the Odyssey PC680 mounted sideways?
Im planning on relocating the battery and all the relays/fuses and mounted thinly under the seat...if the PC680 doesn't work sideways which battery will?...thx Jolo

Yes you can use them any way up. You can also get away with one smaller than a PC680, a PC535 would do. The 535 has 200 CCA which is more the the small Yuasa that I have fitted (180CCA).

This is the Odyssey Technical Manual.
This is a quote from that manual:
Installing the ODYSSEY battery in any orientation other than inverted does not affect any performance attribute. There is also no fear of acid spillage. 
Inverted means upside down.
