I know, it's not earth shattering news, but
Just refitted re-covered seat and took her out for a spin
Stopped for a coffee + something delicious & home agin

The machine is just such a pleasure to ride I just wanted to share it

Happy Christmas
Rod ;-)

Hello!

It's fairly popular consensus that connecting red/positive clips first to the positive/red posts, then the black/negative clip to the frame.
Taking the Batterie out is the opposite way.
You will avoid a Electric shortcut.

Cheers

20F outside, 3" snow on the ground, and abundant black ice on the roads.

Can you say envy?

Thanks for sharing Rod.

It's always nice to hear of a pleasant run and great to hear that you enjoyed it so much that you felt the need to share. Too many of life's little moments are lost along the way and not appreciated for the great feeling that they bring us.

That's no fun  - not good for riding at all. Envy a way!

I was thinking of my run from Cork to Dublin airport week before last. It was a cold one and when I stopped for petrol met someone who told me it had been -6c on the way up. That's about 22F and I was snug. No snow though, but freezing fog. I had expected -2c or -3c. RT fairing etc is really good for it.

Yes, the RT does an admirable job of deflecting the elements and is my favorite machine this time of year.

But when my 4 wheeler is slip sliding all over the road there is no way I am going to risk the bike and these old bones.
