So I have yet another basic, but important question, and that is regarding which tools to have in my bike kit, since I did not get the BMW standard tools with the bike, and I have no time before my trip to order a new kit,so I have the screwdrivers,a bit set, some umbraco keys, the tape, some wire and then I wonder which size  spanners etc is standard on the k100 ?!?

I would definitely have something for removing both wheels.   Sorry but I don't know what sizes you need for that.  I believe that if you look in the owners manual (if you have one) you will find a list of what is in the tool kit.

The cheapest thing on a BMW is the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat.

The original tool kit is pretty much what you need.
If you search the forum, there are a couple of discussions on the subject.
Check this thread...

Hey!

The size 17 should be fine for the rear wheel.
You don't need much tools.

This could be handy

I would pay more than 20-25€ for that

Besides a wheel wrench and Phillips screwdriver, a set of Ball End Allen wrenches plus a 10mm combination wrench and needlenose pliers are the tools I use the most on my bricks.

What's in my tool kit...probably too much but here it is.

A 10mm drive socket plus 17mm socket for rear wheel.
10 12 13 19mm ring/OE spanner
A 10-6mm socket reducer plus 7 8 9 10 12 13mm.
A flexi bar for the socket so it reaches tight places at an angle like inside relay box [longer fuel lines so I don't have to take off the tank to access it].
A set of ball end Allen keys ideally the longer ones so check your coil cover, front brake master cylinder, plug cover plate, footrest hanger, front axle pinch bolts, brake calipers, sump plug, sump oil filter cover
Small ratchet screw driver with detachable bits for flat and pozi.
Plug spanner
Mole grips. I can use this to extend the socket ratchet for the rear wheel if needed......
Small electrical pliers
Spare spark plug.
Junior hacksaw blade in a holder.
I have a small tapered metal rod that works for getting front axle out, adjusting my rear shock preload and for punching out brake pins.

If you have never had your tank off check the connectors and se what kind are on the pipes. Some are not removable and I have changed them for ones off the R bikes so a screwdriver will open them. Odds are the fuel line swill be perished and hard and if you go at them they will crack. Maybe get a 1m length from BMW and the clips, you need 6 altogether and just have them in case of a leak.

Spare bulb kit as came from Lidl, its got its own plastic box and just added in spare fuses to it.
Cable ties [black]
Electrical Tape
Some spare wire
Connectors.

Oxford repair kit and gas cylinders.

All fits behind the seat.

I built it up from watching what was needed to do maintenance.

To be fair I have rarely needed any of it travelling but on trips I have left some maintenance items if I was under pressure and done them en route. Brake pad swaps, occasional oil transmission/final drive oil change, plug change and in one instance a fuel leak travelling was sorted.

A mate of mine from New England some years ago said all you really need is a credit card and a fresh pair of undies in case it's an overnight stay. This was, of course, before mobile phones. No mention of a toothbrush, but we're bikers.

Something I have at home is what I call my "Rescue Package".  It is a box of spare parts that is ready to take to the post office to mail to wherever I am stuck with a broken bike.

Among other things it has:
-a Hall Effect sensor plate
-relays including starter, flasher, and BMU
-ignition coils and plug wires
-engine temperature sensor
-a pair of brake pads
-throttle cable
-Thermostat
-ECU

By having all this stuff ready to go I don't have to have someone at home trying to find the right part in my spares stash, package it properly and get it in the mail.  Once I have the bike running again, I can mail the unused stuff back home.  That package and my AAA RV Plus service card provide a lot of support.

Don't need a toothbrush. Guinness make excellent mouthwash.
