I'm Mark, an ex-pat Texan living currently in the Midwest US (Peoria, Illinois to be more precise). Our roads here tend to be flat, straight, and poorly maintained since the state government is out of money and not functioning well.

I've recently acquired a 1990 K75RT for myself to go with the 1991 K75RT my GF has. I bought it knowing there were issues, and so far have replaced the final drive and driveshaft with better used pieces. Next up on the agenda is replacement of the timing chain and accompanying items.

I'll be reading all I can find on the subject while waiting for the parts arrive from Motobins, and probably asking a few questions while underway.

I'm fluent in Texan and Southern US, passable in other US dialects, can get by in Brit, but kinda lost in Ozzie, so I may have to ask for clarification along the way. Laughing

I wrench on a fleet of older trucks for a living, so that helps with the language barriers to some extent.

And my username is pronounced FAY-oh, it's Spanish for "ugly". Laughing
